You know, I hear people saying that Elementary’s crimes/mysteries are not as strong as Sherlock’s, but I have to admit, so far I’ve liked Elementary’s more. I’ve found Sherlock’s mysteries to be a lot sillier and outrageous in comparison. One instance in mind is the stars in the painting in “The Great Game” episode. I just couldn’t believe a painter would go through the trouble of painstakingly painting a perfectly accurate night sky, especially when the style of the painting itself was not highly rendered. Also the ninjas in “The Blind Banker” and Sherlock somehow passing as middle-eastern despite being 6 feet tall pale man with bright blue eyes with no effort to disguise himself besides his outfit and still somehow rescuing Adler in “The Scandal in Belgravia”. Too ridiculous….
I think my main problem with Elementary at the moment is the Evil Voice appearing all the time once the perpetrator of the crimes is discovered. Seriously, why, what’s the point of the Evil Voice?! We know they committed the crime, they don’t have to suddenly turn into super sinister people who love lording the fact that they’re not gonna get caught for one reason or another.
Mmmm yeah, just some stuff I wanted to ramble about, sometimes I just like complaining…….
